The Elder Scrolls Online is soon going to have its next expansion released. It has been quite some time since the Gates of Oblivion went live, and now with it nearing its end, the game is finally preparing for the release of its next expansion, The Elder Scrolls Online: Deadlands. The release of Elder Scroll VI is quite far even now, but, finally there will be some new content for the The Elder Scrolls Online. And, the best part? It is set to release in the very next month. So, not much of a wait for us. To be specific, it is releasing on November 1, 2021. So, in a way, it is even less than a whole month.
The players have known it for quite some time now that in this year, the players would be spending a lot of time in the Deadlands near the end of the event. This just shows that it was planned by Bethesda to release Deadlands this year itself. Deadlands is going to be a paid expansion. However, the first prologue chapter for Deadlands is free, and is available now. All you have to do to get it started is grab the quest called “An Apocalyptic Situation”. But, where do you grab it from? Well, this quest can be claimed from the in-game Crown Store. What does this quest revolve around? In this new quest, the players would be learning more about Mehrune’s Dagon, and more about his newest, obnoxious plan.
As said before, this is a prologue, and would just provide context about the upcoming expansion. And, the best part is that it is free, so you can play it now, and see if you find it interesting, and then you might get the expansion if you feel like it. One of the most intriguing aspects of this new expansion is that it will take players back to Tamriel, and lots of other locations that we had seen in the previous Elder Scroll game, The Elder Scroll IV: Oblivion. So, fans of the series would definitely love playing it just due to the sheer nostalgia.
As said before, Deadlands is a paid expansion. But, if you have the Elder Scrolls Online membership, then you can get it as well. Or, you can also use the premium Currency Crowns to get it from the Crown Store in-game.
Take your first steps into the #Deadlands this November.

Explore unforgiving areas such as The Burn, The Sever, and the mystical city of Fargrave. Just watch out for the Infernium, Dagonic Manticora and, of course, Mehrunes Dagon’s many loyal servants. pic.twitter.com/bVGL4OArd8
