Recently a lot of game releases have been getting delayed. Now, it seems another game, which is undoubtedly one of the most awaited games this year, is also getting delayed. This time around, it is Battlefield 2042. However, unlike most games that are getting delayed to release in the next year, Battlefield 2042’s release is just in the next month of the previously announced release date. So, fortunately, that would not be that much longer of a wait.
Battlefield 2042 was initially planned to release in October this year, however, now the launch has been rescheduled to take place in November. There was some news in the pipeline that BF2042 is getting delayed, however, it was not official. Now, the developer has confirmed it in a new tweet. In fact, it is not just the full game that is being delayed. Even the beta test that was supposed to be made available this month is also getting delayed along with it. The tweet mentions that more updates regarding the beta would be coming later this month. However, considering that we are almost near the end of the month, it is very unlikely that the beta would be taking place this month itself.
As for the specific release date of the main game, the initial release date of October 22, 2021, has now been changed to November 19, 2021. Which is just slightly less than a month from the original release date.
Here is the main tweet for all those who are wondering about it.

The next-generation Battlefield game is undoubtedly an ambitious project, after all, it will be the best Battlefield ever with a more destructible environment than ever, and also the most advanced battlefield game ever. Due to the global pandemic, it is not really possible for the team to match those expectations and deliver it in the next very month. So, the devs consider it crucial to take some more time for the game and release it in November. Although disappointing, it is just a month of extra wait, not unlike many other games that are getting rescheduled to the next year. And, due to the pandemic, it is quite understandable too.
