Total War games have always been a fan favorite among strategy game lovers. The newest addition to the series is going to be Total War: Warhammer 3, and it was supposed to release this very year itself. However, now it has been elated to the next year. So, yes, it is quite disappointing for the fans.

It was announced very recently by the developers that Total War: Warhammer 3 would not be released until early in 2022. So, the fans should be looking for at least 4-5 months of wait from now for the release of Total War: Warhammer 3.

Total War: WARHAMMER III will now release in early 2022.

We know this is disappointing, but the extra time means we can accomplish more than we could if we rushed to release this year.

While it is indeed exciting to get the game out as soon as possible, the team wants to give it more time, and for that, they are moving the launch to next year, according to Chief Product Officer Rob Bartholomew. Rob also said that the wait would not be much longer, and in the meanwhile, there would be plenty of new information for the players. He also added that this new release date will make for an even stronger release, and will be a very important step into the new era for Total War: Warhammer. Total War: Warhammer III won’t be the end of the trilogy, and rather be the start of years of content and support to bring the jaw-dropping scale of Games Workshop’s universe to the game.

So, if you are someone who is a fan of the series and were badly waiting for the release of the new Total War: Warhammer game, turns out, you would have to wait a bit longer now. But, it should be worth it, as this extra time would be used by the devs to make the game even more enjoyable.
