Crysis games are a favorite for FPS Sci-Fi FPS lovers out there. Crysis games offer some excellent gunplay and FPS experience with the CryNet Nanosuit which makes the experience even more enjoyable and provides the player with insurmountable powers. Anyway, the last Crysis game, talking of new games, was released back in 2013 with Crysis 3. Since, there have been no new, fresh installments in the Crysis series. Although there was a Crysis Remastered, which just as the name suggests is a remaster of the very first Crysis game that was released back in November 2007. Crysis Remastered was launched back in September 2020. The Crysis Remastered turned out to be quite successful and, then a few months ago, back in June 2021, we got the news that a Crysis Remastered Trilogy is in the works.
Now, in September 2021, we have finally got hold of a release date for this Remastered Trilogy. The release for Crysis Remastered Trilogy is set to happen in October this year. To be precise, the Crysis 2 Remastered, and Crysis 3 Remastered will be launching on October 15, 2021. And, as for the availability, these can be purchased separately, or via the Trilogy Remastered bundle, which just as the name suggests would provide the buyers access to all three remasters of the Crysis games.
With Crysis Remastered, there were very significant changes in terms of the visuals. Support for high resolutions, improved textures, lighting, visuals, and overall, a more beautiful Crysis game. After all, Crysis was released almost 13 years before the release of Crysis Remastered. Now, when it comes to the Crysis 2 remastered and Crysis 3 Remastered, we expect to see lots of changes as well, and most definitely, a lot better graphics than what those games originally had. Crysis 3 in particular is still a very graphic-intensive game even by modern standards. It would be quite interesting to see how demanding the Crysis 3 Remastered will be.
Just like the Crysis Remastered release, the Crysis 2 Remastered and Crysis 3 Remastered would be launched as an Epic Games Store exclusive title. And, will probably make its way to Steam after a year of its release, so it should be available on Steam somewhere around October 2022. Crysis games are a lot of fun, and I am quite excited to see how the new Crysis Remastered games would end up being like. Fortunately, we are just a month or so away from the release.
