Saints Row Reboot just recently got announced in a Gamescom live stream. Anyway, the game’s announcement was not something that the fans of the series were happy about. This is because of the big changes that the devs are making to the game. The new, upcoming Saints Row game is going to be a completely different Saints Row game with a completely different set of characters, and a new setting as well. Anyway, there has been no release for a proper gameplay trailer for the game yet. But, with the recent trailer called SAINTS ROW Welcome to Santo Ileso Trailer, we actually do get to see some gameplay of the new Saints Row game.

Well, without any further ado, here is the new trailer, check it out:

This trailer is more about the developers talking about the game, and the game’s setting, the state of Santo Ileso. Santo Ileso is a beautiful location with nine different districts, and each district has its unique setting and theme. Anyway, amidst all of these, we also get to see some bits of the gameplay footage of the new and upcoming Saints Row game. However, there is only a bit of it. After all, this trailer is to talk about the location and is not a gameplay trailer in any way. When that comes, we would know more about how the gameplay and visuals of this new game would be like. In this trailer, we also get to know about the new Saints of this game and also some tidbits of information about the various enemy factions of the game. We get to see some small amount of gunplay, and combat, and that seems pretty similar to the previous Saints Row game. Also, just like the previous games, the colors on this are also quite vibrant, with pretty eye-popping visuals, and fast paced gameplay.

So, all in all, from the gameplay we have seen so far, it seems that the new upcoming Saints Row game will be similar to the previous games in terms of combat, and gameplay. However,  it would be in a completely new setting, a new set of characters, and a less amount of over the top stuff when compared to  Saints Row IV. But, other than it is indeed a Saints Row game from every angle, it is colorful, has fun gunplay, over the top stuff, and according to Volition, it is also the largest yet.
