The new and upcoming Saints Row game just got announced a few days back in Gamescom live stream, from what we have heard from Volition, it seems that this time around it will be a complete reboot with a new setting, a new set of characters, and have the largest and most diverse Saints Row world ever. It will be set in a new state called Santo Ileso which will have nine different districts, and each district will have a different theme, And, we also got to know about the release date for this new Saints Row game. It is set to release in February 2022.

However, now, we have gotten another trailer for this new and upcoming Saints Row game. This time, there is a lot more to cover about the game,  so let’s get over all of it. Anyway, among all of the new revelations from this new trailer. And, there was one revelation from a press release as well, that the game will be getting at least three DLC episodes after it launches in February next year.

So, three DLC definitely means there will be a lot of content that will follow after the game releases in February. The new trailer is titled ‘Welcome to Santo Ileso’, and just as the name suggests it literally revolves around Santo Ileso which is the town in which the new Saints Row will be taking place. Volition has stated that this setting will be the biggest, and also the best Saints Row playground ever. Santo Ileso is an American southwest town, and consists of nine separate districts. Each district comes with a different setting and theme.

However, there is a bit of disappointing news for fans of the series. This time around there will be a cast of completely new characters. However, for the fans, there will be something according to Volition. Also, Volition has stated that this game will not be having as much crazy, wacky comedy and stuff as the last few Saints Row games, and instead, will have a different kind of story.

So, all in all, all of this sounds really interesting and seems there is a lot of stuff to look forward to. Not only, how the game will be different from its predecessors, but also how the post-launch DLCs will be, of which three are already promised. Well, only time will tell. Saints Row Reboot releases on February 25, 2022.
