Battlefield 2042 Beta is happening this week. However, it seems that there will be some serious consequences for the leakers that got invited to play the beta. This is a very confidential playtesting for Battlefield 2042. Leaks of this playtest is something that the devs would definitely not want. But, naturally, when such exclusive things are out, those who are in always end up leaking stuff related to it. And, that exactly is happening with Battlefield 2042 technical preview as well.

There are various videos and other content about the upcoming Battlefield game that has been uploaded online. However, when these players got in the playtest, all of them were made to sign a strict NDA regarding not revealing what they get to experience in that playtest. Yet, many disregarded, and thanks to that we are already seeing a lot of stuff online. However, EA is no slouch either. It is very much active in terms of taking down all of this leaked content from the web. Anyway, now EA Studios Europe's lead community manager has tweeted on how the play test is going on, and it also covered the bit about these leaks. According to the tweet, it seems that there are some really big consequences for those who will be breaching the NDA.

Check out the main tweet below:

An Update on how things are going with the Closed Tech Test ahead of the weekend. Details on the thread below so check it out and feel free to ask questions I'll answer what I can #BATTLEFIELD

Reminder: Our Technical Playtest is under NDA, and via invitation only

According to the tweet as you can see, that the players who will be leaking stuff pertaining to Battlefield 2042,would not  only be removed from the limited beta testing that is happening currently. But, will also lose access to any future play tests that EA will be conducting in the future. Furthermore, when the main game releases, the player might not even be able to access the game. So, yes, it seems that EA is really strict about this, and is very much not happy with all the leaks happening. If you are someone who has managed to get access to this limited play test, it would be in your best interest to not leak anything about it on the internet it seems.
