Call of Duty games are something that almost every FPS lover know of. After all, it is one of the most popular game series out there when it comes to FPS games. Anyway, the arrival of a new Call of Duty has been in the pipeline for the past few months. Now, it seems we have a lot more information regarding the upcoming Call of Duty, including the setting, and some leaked images as well. Let’s talk about why we know of the new Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: Vanguard so far, from the leaks.

Dataminers have come across some really interesting information from the latest Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War update. It has resulted in the surfacing of some leaked images of the upcoming Call of Duty game. The name, Vanguard was leaked a few months back. And, these new images that have surfaced now, do confirm that the previous leak was accurate about the name. And, this time, we even have some images which reveal even more information about this new upcoming, Call of Duty: Vanguard.

In the leaked image, we get to see that there would be three different editions of Call of Duty: Vanguard, a Standard Edition, Ultimate Edition, and a Cross-Gen bundle. Having multiple editions of games has been a very popular trend. And, we get to see it here again. However, the leaked images have since been removed from the internet. After all, Activision would definitely not want its newest game’s details being out before they plan on doing it themselves.

Anyway, as for the leaked images, they show four soldiers, all equipped with various weapons fighting in a setting with palm trees. There are a lot of explosions in the background. However, the most important aspect here is the weapons that they are using. It looks like they are using weapons that were very popular in the World War 2. This leads us to believe, that Vanguard will be set in World War 2.

Another leaked image shows us the various skins, characters, weapons, and even the teaser for an Early Access Open Beta. However, since this was leaked, I believe that it should be officially announced by Activision sometime in the near future. However, since all of it being a leak, take it with a grain of salt. But, judging how it matched with the previous leak, and it was datamined from the latest update itself, I am quite confident that this is pretty legit.
