Diablo is a name that almost everyone has heard of. After all, it is one of the most popular series of games when it comes to the ARPG genre. Diablo is also coming to mobile, in fact, Diablo Immortal (the mobile spinoff) was supposed to release pretty soon. To be precise, it was supposed to be released this year itself. However, now it does not seem like something that is going to happen. This is because Diablo Immortal’s release is now pushed back to H1 2022. Pretty disappointing, yes?

Diablo games are known for their excellent ARPG mechanics. When the news of a mobile version of this popular franchise of ARPG games first came, there was a lot of excitement. In fact, the game also had a technical alpha back in December, and it turned out to be great for those who got their hands on it. Then, the release date was stated to be somewhere in 2021. So, that made things even more interesting. However, now the date has been pushed back. Blizzard announced that it is delaying the release of Diablo Immortal as this would allow them to add various substantial improvements to the whole game. From the technical alpha that took place in December, Blizzard got a lot of feedback. And, based on that feedback, it is making required changes to ensure that the game is fun for the players once it gets released. 

One of the most significant things that the team is working on now is making PvP elements of the game more accessible, and making the PvE content more fun, and engaging. Furthermore, they are also working on adding controller support to the game. These changes will be implemented in the future as they plan for their next beta testing milestone. So, although the game’s release is now delayed by a good few months, there is nothing to lose hope about. After all, the delay that is happening will only end up making the final game more appealing, and more fun. And, that is something no one would complain about right?
