Battlefield games have always been one of the most popular ones when it comes to first person shooter. The thing that separates Battlefield games from other FPS games is the MMO experience. Battlefield games allows the players to get the real feel of a battlefield with almost hundreds of other players running around, shooting at each other, riding various vehicles, including tanks, fighter jets, etc. Overall, it brings the true essence of an actual battlefield in a game. As of now, the latest Battlefield game is Battlefield V. However, the upcoming Battlefield game, is titled Battlefield 2042, and is supposed to release in a few months from now. To be precise, it is stated to release in October 22, 2021.

Now, it seems that there is going to be some limited playtesting for Battlefield 2042 happening next week. It will be made available to a limited selection of players over six difference sessions. All of these sessions would be taking place next week. Invitation have been sent out by EA to these selected players. And, the playtesting would start from August 12, and run till August 15. This playtest will feature 5 3 hour-long sessions, and a separate 0-hour long sessions. This would give access to a few thousand of players to play the game. Furthermore, from what we know so far, ti seems that this technical test will also feature cross play. So, console and Pc players would be able to play together in this playtest.

Also, there will be a strict NDA that the players will have to sign. Obviously, no one wants one of their biggest releases in a year to be spoiled before its actual release right? However, it seems unlikely that there will be no leaks. If history is any proof, then we all know that certain things would definitely get leaked. But, who knows? Furthemore, in the e-mails received by the selected players, the minimum and recommended system requirements for Battlefield 2042 has also been stated. It is as follows:
