Amazon has been trying to make new PC games that are really ambitious. However, so far, the results have not been as they wanted it to be. Crucible was in the end, canceled by the developers. However, now it seems that all hope is with their upcoming MMO game, New World. It was supposed to release in a month or so. However, now that is no longer the case. New World just had its closed beta some time ago, and the feedback of it was not really something to talk about. According to the developers, from the feedback that the team has received from the closed beta, it has decided to push back the release to end of September. And, in this extra time, it would do some tweaks and changes which should be really worth the delay in release.

The developers state that they want the game’s release to be smooth and be fun for all the players. So, based on what the players did not like in the closed beta, the team would work on those elements and try to make it more appealing, and fun for the players. So, the team is delaying the game by a few weeks and in this time it would remove bugs, improve stability, and polish the game overall. So, what is the new release date? To be specific, it is September 28, 2021.

According to the developer, this was not an easy decision to make. However, it is something that the team has to do to ensure that the game on its release, is just the way the team desires it to be. And, the game that people will actually have fun playing. The game has been delayed before as well. But, it had to be done yet again considering the feedback the team got from the closed beta that took place recently. The game was initially set to release in May 2020. However, since then it has been delayed multiple times, and now, it is delayed yet again. 

However, this time it was to fulfill the expectations of the players. The impression that the players got after the closed beta was not too good. And, the developers want it to be good. For that, they are now taking these extra weeks and improving the various aspects which can make New World a more fun, and better game.
