Zombie survival mode is something that a lot of popular games get over time. Some Call of Duty games have been having it for quite a long time. Now, it seems that PUBG which is undoubtedly one of the most popular games out there today, is also going to have a Zombie survival mode of its own. Zombies are making their way to PUBG now in the form of a new Zombie Survial mode that is only available in Labs. This mode is more of a horde survival. There will be ten different waves or stages of zombies. The longer you can stay alive, the better will be the loot that you get. Which in this case is coins, and weapons. And, yes before you ask, the longer you survive, the more power zombies you will face against, and the number will be even larger. Furthermore, there will also be new, special types of zombies.
There are a total of ten stages, and each of these last for three minutes each. The only way to get to the next stage is either killing all the zombies of the current wave, or surviving till the end of the stage’s time limit. And, not everyone has to survive. Even if only one guy survives from your squad, all of you will be going ahead to the next stage. But, what about dying, and how do you revive? Well, in this mode, once you die, the only way you can get revived is by getting to the next wave. In between every wave, there will be 20 second break. If you died in the preceeding stage, then you would be revived in this 20 second break.
The players will be getting survival coins by eliminating the zombies. The higher the stage, the more coins there will be. But, what to do with all of these new coins? Well, these new coins can be used to obtain new items by heading to your inventory. So, it is not just endless shooting for zombies for no reason. But, when will this new zombie mode be available? Well, turns out it already is, and it will be available till August 16. So, you have around 12 days to enjoy this new mode.
It would be really interesting to see how the community feels about this new experimental mode. But, from what we know so far, it seems interesting, and definitely something that not a lot of player expected out of PUBG. But, here it is!
