A news DnD live has just been kicked off and that has created some bit of hype. It was because at the
event a new Dungeons & Dragons book was announced. It is called Fizban's Treasury of Dragons. There
is a narrator to the book and it is none other than Fizban. This character is a dragon but it moves around in
a human form.
This was the second edition of the book and the first edition was launched in October 2019/ This second
edition is an expansion on the legendary beasts and it is exciting for players. It gives players new dragon-
themed options. There is a surprise in store in this book as you are introduced to gem dragons for the first
time and this is a new player character option. There is more to expect and the presence of a new race
option for dragonborns should be interesting. It helps to put focus on promatic, metallic, or gem heritages.
This book should also be a big help to any DM who is exploring options to craft a campaign that is
stepped in dragon lore.
The book has a main cover, which features the artwork of Chris Rahn. There is also an alternative cover,
which features art by Anato Finnstark. As you lay hands on the book, one should also come across art by
Zoltan Boros. His artwork displayed the gem dragonborns and there is more to expect. There is also a
metallic great wyrm by Crystal Sully. The focus should also fall on a turtle great wyrm by David Auden
Nash.
There was also a press conference held and addressing the media was none other than D&D TRPG Studio
executive producer Ray Winninger. He had to say that there is a definite focus on this book on certain
stuff, which can be used at the table right now. He says that the book has extensive ranging from dragon
lair maps to, tons of new dragon stat blocks. Ray also spoke about non-dragon stat blocks, and various
dragon-related monsters showing up in the book. There is also a lot of player-facing content in the book.
This book has a large bestiary that features 20 different kinds of dragons. There are also plenty of dragon-
related creatures and that should be about a third of the book. It should be exciting for fans and you can
stay tuned to our updates for more DnD related news.
