Destiny 2 is a game that has had several major updates, and expansions so far. The game, right now, is as popular as it ever was, if not more. Bungie has been adding a ton of new content to ensure that new players jump on the bandwagon, and the veterans always have something new, and fresh to do. Not to mention, the game is free to play as well. 

Anyway, now it seems that Destiny 2 is soon going to have another major expansion, and this time this new expansion is Witch Queen. The Witch Queen Expansion will be having its full, official reveal on August 24, 2021. The phrase ‘Witch Queen’ definitely sounds like something that is related to none other than Savathûn. And, from the poster, it definitely seems that it will be about Savathûn. Why do we think so? Well, not only because of the phrase, but also the crossed chevrons glyph of Savathûn that are shown on the new poster on Destiny 2’s official Twitter.

So, from all that is available now, we can pretty much conclude that Savathûn is going to be one the main crux of this new, Witch Queen expansion.  For those of you who are unaware, Savathûn is one of the three Hive siblings that first communed with the Worm Gods. Among these siblings, one of these was Oryx, the Taken King. Oryx was already dealt with in the original Destiny. So, the fans have always been waiting for the opportunity to deal with another sibling. Now, it seems that is something that might just be possible in this next expansion.

Sadly, as of now, all of this is merely just speculation. But, from what we have as of now, this seems very much possible. Who knows? Only time will tell. Fortunately, it’s just like a month and a few weeks before we finally get the full reveal and know more about the upcoming Destiny 2 expansion, Witch Queen. Another thing to note is that the slogan on the poster reads “SURVIVE THE TRUTH”. It will be really interesting to know what this ‘truth’ is. A very interesting plot twist is what we make of it, but let’s see!
