A user has now published a new mod that is supposed to bring a little more atmosphere to the Velen region. While the next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is still a long time coming, busy modders are still working on high-resolution textures. So the modder "dbd17" has now taken care of people and humanoids and shared his revision on Nexusmods. Its modification is a good 3 gigabytes in size and comes in three parts.

Another modder has taken on the revision of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. However, "dbd17" has completely focused on the humans and humanoids and given them an HD upgrade. The Mod "Humans of the Continent" pretties people and non-people, such as elves, dwarves or nymphs (Lady of the Lake). But also monsters that use a humanoid form are updated, such as the succubus or the aunties, the mistresses of the forest, in their "beauty forms".
 

The HD-Mod is a good 3 gigabytes in size and comes in three parts. She uses AI techniques to upgrade The Witcher 3's textures. It's "Adult Content" because the mod contains uncensored nudity and realistic anatomy. The first part of the modification contains a revision of the male characters and changes a good 356 files. The modder "FaramH" recently published his new project with which he wants to bring a dark fantasy atmosphere to Velen. His mod is still in the works, but players can already download it on NexusMods. According to the modder, the Witcher players have always had an extraordinary atmosphere. In his opinion, the areas of Novigrad and Velen in The Witcher 3 were graphically hit by the downgrade. The consequence of this would be that, according to the official lorry, the relatively gloomy stretches of land no longer felt so atmospheric. Few shadows in the grass, yellow leaves, too much blue smoke and lighting that was strangely foggy just didn't feel right, according to "FaramH".

His modification "Depravity Lighting Mod - A Velen Lighting Project" is now supposed to change this. The modder aims to make Velen feel like a depraved medieval landscape torn by war and strife. In the story of The Witcher, Velen is also called the no man's land. This is to be expressed with the mod.
