AMD has announced the introduction of the FidelityFX Super Resolution just this week. At the initial
stages, it supports seven titles but there is surely more to come. We would like to speak about the first
expansion on this list and that has been in the form of Valve enhancing Dota 2 with the supersampling
technology. We have more details and would like to share them with you.
We would first like to say that this update should work with any GPU, which has DirectX 11 or Vulcan
compatibility. Are you struggling to pick up the best graphics card from AMD or Nvidia?  A player may
also find it hard to hit decent frame rates. There is now the scope to boost FPS regardless of what your
gaming PC runs.
We have also gathered inputs on the ways to make the tick-box for FSR pop up. It is a simple task and a
participant will need to reduce ‘Game screen render quality’ within the settings to less than 100%. There
is no fear because Dota 2 is not taxing on the hardware, but the tick-box for FSR pop-up could come in
handy for a player as he/ she looks to hit the high refresh rates on the top game monitors. It is also
beneficial for fans who intend to play the game on older laptops.  This development is critical from the
perspective of a player. He/she can no longer show an alibi to drop out of a match with your team, even if
your main rig slows to a crawl.
Dota 2 is a big title, which is receiving FSR support but much to the delight of gaming fans, there are
more on this list. There is a big list of games, which are today receiving this support. There are over 40
partnered developers on the list and it was published by AMD. We managed to get hold of this list and
could see that it is inclusive of plenty of the big names. We could immediately take the name EA, Ubisoft,
Hello Games, and Gearbox. The next Resident Evil Village game should retroactively get the feature. The
gaming industry experts also expect Far Cry 6 to include this feature right at the moment of launch. The
invention of this technique allows the game to render at a lower resolution initially. It can then upscale the
results with improved image quality.
